JR’s HUT KIMO ESTATE - David & Emelia
‘We engaged Anthony Hunt Design & Luke Stanley Architects to design our ‘eco hut’ project at Kimo Estate in Gundagai NSW. We gave Anthony & Luke free reign over the design process as we believe that architects earn their money in the creative phase of the project, especially when dealing with the initial concepts. 

Anthony and Luke designed a stunning piece of architecture, with the materials all tying in beautifully with their location. They created an amazing space, that is visually appealing and leaves our customers with a sense of place in our environment. We expect the hut to stand the test of time and have been overwhelmed with the public response it’s received.'

From the moment we first met with Anthony, our dream started to feel like a reality. We knew the "feel" of what we wanted to achieve, but we had no idea where to start. He immediately understood our vision, and set to work creating our "family friendly" renovation and extension. 

It was important to us that we stayed on budget and Anthony was conscious of this throughout the project. He communicated brilliantly with our builder and was able to be on-site to answer any questions. Anthony is incredibly passionate about his work, and it's impossible not to get caught up in his excitement! He can see the bigger picture, but understands the time-consuming nature of all those little decisions you have to make along the way (hello light fixtures!). Nothing was too much trouble. His easygoing attitude, sense of humour and in-depth knowledge of the industry made us feel comfortable from the outset. The team was flexible when we wanted to make changes, and patiently talked us through our vague ideas until we came up with a concrete plan.  

Anthony understood our desire to create a warm and inviting family home that would suit not only small children but teenagers as well. In an incredible twist, it also happens to look like something out of an architectural magazine! We still cannot believe we are lucky enough to live here, and would highly recommend Anthony to anyone planning their Forever Home.
